Nothing is impossible with God
Dear Church Family,
As we enter the Season of Advent this December, the final month of 2025, we are reminded of the beautiful themes that define this time: Hope, Peace, Joy, and Love. These four words encompass the heart of Christ’s coming into our world. Jesus Christ, our Lord, was revealed to us as a human being—sent from God the Father, through the power of the Holy Spirit—to inaugurate the Kingdom of God, a kingdom that will be fully realized at His second coming.
Our promise for this month is found in,
Luke 1:37
“For with God nothing will be impossible.”
“தேவனாலே கூடாத காரியம் ஒன்றுமில்லை”
When Mary questioned the angel Gabriel about how she would bear Jesus, the angel responded that, just as with Elizabeth, nothing is impossible with God. The word “nothing” can also mean “no word” —reminding us that no word from God will fail. God will always do what He has promised!
This Advent season holds special meaning for our church as we celebrate the joy of Christ’s coming all month long. Together, we will reflect on four aspects of Christmas: Feast, Flourish, Forgive, and Fearless. As a church family, we continue to build relationships, offer forgiveness in our brokenness, proclaim hope to a hurting world, and share our gifts to spread joy.
We have much to thank God for and celebrate this month. We thank God for His amazing blessings during the Harvest Festival. We welcome a new Board and are preparing for our Choir Christmas Concert, Children’s Christmas Concert, Christmas Service, Christmas Carol Service, and New Year’s Eve Service. Please make every effort to attend these gatherings. We look forward to sharing Christmas joy as we visit your homes for caroling. Your presence at these services will be a blessing.
Above all, Christmas leads us to Bethlehem, to the cross, and to an empty grave. It draws us closer to one another and to new ways of living in hope, faith, peace, and love.
Wishing you a wonderful Advent season and a blessed Christmas! Remember, Jesus came for you—hold fast to His purpose and love.
Blessings,
Rev. Dr. Devadosan Sugirtharaj
