Prayers & Praises

Dear Beloved ICWC Family,

Grace and peace to you in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ. As we enter a new month, I am filled with gratitude for each of you and for the faithfulness God has shown to our church family. It is my joy to share this month’s promise verse, a powerful reminder of God’s presence and provision:

Offer to God a sacrifice of thanksgiving and fulfill your vows to the Most High. Call upon Me in the day of trouble; I will deliver you, and you will honor Me. - Psalm 50:14-15

Psalm 50:14-15 calls us to offer God a sacrifice of thanksgiving and to fulfill our vows to Him, reminding us that worship is more than rituals—it’s a heart posture of gratitude and integrity. In today’s fast-paced world, it’s easy to focus on our needs and challenges, but God invites us to start with thanksgiving, acknowledging His goodness in every season. The psalm assures us that when we seek God and cry out to Him in times of trouble, He promises to answer and deliver us. This is not a distant hope, but a present reality for all who trust in Him.

Our gratitude and faith unlock a deeper relationship with God, turning every difficulty into an opportunity to experience His faithfulness. As we fulfill our commitments to God and make Him central in our lives, we witness His power and presence in new ways. Let us approach each day by giving thanks and seeking God’s help, confident that He hears us and will glorify Himself through our lives

Let us approach this month with hearts of gratitude, remembering that when we offer our thanksgiving and keep our commitments to the Lord, He promises to hear us and deliver us in our times of need. May this verse encourage us to draw nearer to God, trusting in His unfailing love and faithfulness.

I am also excited to announce a series of upcoming programs and ministries designed to nourish our spiritual growth and strengthen our fellowship. This month, we will be blessed by special worship services featuring guest speakers: Evangelist Isaac Joe, Evangelist Gnanaselvin, and Pastoral Reenu Kumar. Let us prepare our hearts to receive the Word through these anointed servants.

Our men’s fellowship retreat will provide a special opportunity for brothers to grow together in faith and fellowship. In addition, our church’s prayer ministries continue to be the backbone of our spiritual life: early morning prayer, intercession prayer, all night prayer, family fasting prayer, prayer walk, and Ezra prayer. I urge everyone to participate and experience the power of united prayer.

We also celebrate the vibrant ministries for all ages in our congregation: Sunday school, preteens, youth ministries, and women’s fellowship. Each of these ministries plays a vital role in nurturing faith and building community.

Let us remember to pray for all the new families who have recently joined our church. May God’s grace abound in their lives and may they find love, support, and spiritual growth within our fellowship.

I encourage everyone to remain steadfast in attending our regular Sunday worship services. Our Harvest Festival Committee is diligently preparing for a season of gratitude and outreach. Please also keep our aged care ministries, evangelism efforts, and “Love in Action” programs in your prayers as we seek to serve both our congregation and the wider community.

As we look ahead to the joyous Christmas season, our choir is preparing a special Christmas concert and services. Let us pray for God’s anointing on every practice and performance, that His message of hope will touch many hearts.

May this month be marked by unity, love, and a deepening commitment to God and to one another. Let us continue to call upon the Lord, trusting in His promises and rejoicing in His deliverance.

With love and blessings,

Rev.Dr. Devadosan Sugirtharaj
